Rumors Swirled But Lamar Odom Will Not Be One The Lakers Roster This Year

Sorry Lakers fans; but if you were hoping for a return of Lamar Odom as I was, hope no more because as of right now it looks like it's not going to happen.

Shortly after the NBA season ended this year rumors started to surface that Lamar Odom could play for the Lakers once again.

We all know that the Lakers had a very disappointing season and could definitely use a strong veteran player such as Lamar Odom to help in their rebuilding process.

RadarOnline.com went as far as reporting that Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and Odom's agent Jeff Schwartz met and an offer was made that if Odom check in and completed rehab a roster spot on the team would be waiting. Per Lakers source no such conversation took place.

Rumors about Odom's drug abuse have been all over the news and internet for the past two weeks. The Lakers did meet with Odom the beginning part of July but nothing came from it. Their decision not to resign him was made prior to drug abuse rumors.

 

What Does The Future Hold For Lamar Odom?

As of right now Lamar Odom is unsigned because the Clippers have no interest in him after acquiring Antwan Jamison from the Lakers.

Hopefully he'll get a deal with someone because he's too good of a player to end his career this way.

Lamar Odom Missing For Several Days - Aaron Davis 2012

Where Is Lamar Odom?

TMZ reports that former Lakers Champion Lamar Odom hasn't been seen or heard from for the past several days........Those closet to him fear that he is off somewhere on a drug binge and the main concern that he's doing crack cocaine.

Per TMZ Khloe kicked him out of the house this past Wednesday after attempting an intervention but Odom wasn't having any of it.

The site also reports that sources have said that Odom has had a drug problem for two years. He even went to a rehab facility in San Diego a year ago but left only after three weeks. Odom was able to keep his problem under control while he was playing but his drug problem got worse once this past basketball season ended.

This Nasty HIV-Positive Woman Should Be Placed Under The Jail!

32-year-old Candance Morris from Cincinnati, OH is an HIV-positive woman that was facing many years in prison for having sex with two of her friend's kids. In court she pleaded guilty to four counts of unlawful sexual contact with two minors. She will only serve one year for her actions.

This all occurred because Morris would offer to watch friends in the neighbor kids as they either ran errands or even went to work. On New Years Eve HIV-positive Morris was reportedly had a mixture of several substances which includes marijuana, beer, vodka and champagne and ended sleeping with two young men at the same time that she had been entrusted to watch. The incident lay dormant until after Morris got into an argument with one of the victims mother and she revealed the horrific truth that she laid with her son.

Although Morris expressed regret for her actions during the trial and said her actions were because she was heavily intoxicated. She also went on to say that she feels the two young men took advantage of the situation. Morris now will have to register as an sex offender after she is released from prison.

The good news is that neither of the two young men have tested positive for the HIV virus. They will undergo testing every six months for the next several years to ensure that the virus is not dormant in their system.

DMX Pulled Over And Arrested In South Carolina - Aaron Davis 2012

DMX And His Latest Run-In With The Law

Throughout his career rapper DMX is best known for his great music, movies and sad to say, many run-ins with the law.

This time around he may have an legitimate gripe.

DMX was a passenger in a vehicle which was pulled over late last night in South Carolina for an alleged illegal U-Turn.

During the stop the cops the cops claimed to have found weed in the vehicle which prompted them to putting DMX in handcuffs. They also informed him that there was a warrant out from a previous driving without a license case and informed him that he was going to jail.

DMX immediately started screaming calling the stop bullshit on the and also claimed that the stop was a set up by saying:

"This ain't no normal traffic stop. 18 cops, 5 cars.....get the fuck out of here man!"

He also says the driver did nothing wrong and also said "It was legal.....they got nothing."

A female friend of DMX recorded the entire rant on video.

DMX Lets His Publicist Do The Talking

A statement by DMX's publicist , Domenick Nati, was issued exclusively to SOHH.com.

"DMX was riding in the passenger seat when the vehicle he was in was pulled over last night. Although officers pulled the m over for a minor traffic violation, DMX was asked to step outside so they can search the vehicle. Officers then claim they found bags of marijuana in the floorboard and arrested X. No drugs were found on DMX or the other passengers and the alleged bags of marijuana were never shown to DMX or the other passengers. DMX was released this morning at approximately 11am (est) and is back in his home in South Carolina."

If that statement is true, they all should file charges against the officers involved.

Dog Dies in Minivan After Carjacking - Aaron Davis 2012

Family Dog Dies in Abandoned Vehicle

This past Saturday a family dog (10-year-old yellow Labrador) was found dead in the back seat of a stolen minivan from Studio City, CA. The vehicle was stolen around 1pm that afternoon from a parking lot.

Apparently the owner of the minivan left the dog inside the vehicle while he ran inside a store to get his wife and daughter. The vehicle was left running with the air conditioning turned on for the dog.

Just that fast the vehicle was stolen with the dog still inside.

The vehicle was found Monday at approximately 5pm not too far from where it was stolen. The dog was found dead inside the vehicle.

 

This Poor Dog Deserves Justice!

The LAPD is currently conducting an investigation into the sad ending of this crime.

I guess the thieves were too busy to crack the windows before they ran away.

Former child star Lee Thompson Young died today from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was only 29 years young.

The actor is possibly best known for his role on the Disney Channel's "The Famous Jett Jackson" which aired from 1998 to 2001.

Young's body was discovered by his landlord in his apartment after concerns from colleagues on "Rizzoli & Isles" went out because the actor did not show up for work on Monday morning.

Throughout his career the actor appeared in many television shows and a few films including "Friday Night Lights" & "Akeelah and the Bee".

R&B singer Miguel was recently arrested for DUI. The incident reportedly happened in the early morning hours of this past Thursday in Los Angeles.

This past Saturday the Missouri State Fair thought it would be a good idea to dress a rodeo clown up as President Barack Obama as part of and act with a broom that appeared to be stuck up his rear.

To no surprise the act backfired and now they're under fire for the tasteless prank.

The act took place where "President Obama" was announced as a special guest.

Now many of you now may be thinking stuff like this happens all the time so what's the big deal?

Well this particular act wasn't innocent fun; the President was made fun of at the event and it sickened many onlookers.

Here's why:

The President was announced by Mark Ficken (the president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association and school superintendent).

As he was making the announcement of the President another voice was heard on the loud speaker saying:

"We're going to stomp Obama now."

"As soon as the bull comes out, Obama, don't you move."

The voice went on to taunt saying:

"He's going to getcha, getcha, getcha, getcha.......Hey; I know I'm a clown. He's just running around acting like one. Doesn't he know he is one."

The idiotic, tasteless act was not appreciated by all who attended and caused many to feel it was racially motivated.

Are You Serious? Oprah Winfrey Is In The House!

While shopping in Zurich, Switzerland, Oprah Winfrey said she was a victim of racism.
Oprah was in Switzerland to attend Tina Turner's wedding.

Oprah was in an upscale store and went to look at a purse when the sales rep told her that the purse was "too expensive" for her. What? Do you not know who you're talking to? Apparently not!

The bag was told to be worth $35,000 and was kept behind a screen.

Like the classy, solid young lady she is; Oprah didn't get upset or argue with the rep, but calmly walked out of the store.

Oprah went on to say that the incident solidified that racism is still a problem.

Even though Switzerland is a country not known for racism, it's sad to know that in 2013 racial profiling exist here around the world.

Shaq Is Taking Some Heat Over His Post On Twitter

Big Shaq is my favorite NBA player but he has many people scratching the heads over a recent post he made on his twitter account.

By purposely covering up the face of Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Shaq is suggesting that he and George Mikan are the two greatest Lakers centers.

If you want to compare notes Karem clearly has better stats (more rings, most post, etc) than Shaq.

So why would Shaq make such a suggestion?

It's been reported that he and Kareem never had a relationship while he was in L. A. and possibly Mikan was the only one that welcomed and embraced the big fella.

Shaq feeling a bit hurt by the love and support he didn't get from Kareem.........It's possible.

50 Cent Faces The Music

In a Los Angeles courtroom today 50 Cent entered a not guilty plea to an incident involving domestic violence against Daphne Joy, the mother of his child.

50 Cent reportedly went off at Joy's apartment and destroyed furniture and other items. He was later charged with domestic violence and property damage.

Joy was granted an protective order prohibiting 50 Cent from coming within 100 feet of her.

No comment from 50 Cent surrounding the case was released.

CBS Stations Removed From TWC Lineup Of Stations - Aaron Davis 2012

After Multiple Public Warning, TWC Officially Removed CBS Stations From Their Lineup

TWC (Time Warner Cable) temporarily has removed CBS stations from their lineup of channels because the two powerhouse companies could not reach an agreement over fees.

Millions of homes in major cities including Los Angeles and New York are being affected by the removal of the CBS stations with no indication how long the blackout will last.

Both parties believe the other is being unfair and unreasonable with their demand. The two will continue to negotiate and hopefully reach an agreement that will satisfy both sides.

KCAL-9 & their sister-station KCBS-2, Showtime and TMC (The Movie Chanel) are among the stations that were removed.

You can actually view some of their stations online until an agreement has been reached.

Regardless who's a fault, it's the customers who are paying the price for the inconvenience.
