Stevie Wonder's Unique Concert Approach - Aaron Davis 2012

Stevie Wonder is scheduled to perform his album Songs in the Key of Life in its entirety at his annual benefit concert House Full of Toys, December 21, 2013 at L.A. Live.

“Love’s in Need of Love Today”, “Sir Duke”, “I Wish” and “Isn’t She Lovely” were big hits off the album.

Wonder made the announcement today at a press conference for the charity. The charity helps families/children in need during the holiday season.

50-Cent Won't Be Going To Jail - Aaron Davis 2012

Rapper 50-Cent will not have to face any jail time after allegedly assaulting the mother of his second child, Daphne Joy, and destroying some of her property during a fight they had in her apartment back in June of this year.

After the incident 50 was charged with five criminal counts:

a.       1 count of misdemeanor domestic violence
b.      4 counts of misdemeanor vandalism – The act of vandalism allegedly caused $7,100 in property damage.

50 pled not guilty but the judge ordered to stay away from Daphne and to turn in his guns.

50 worked out a deal with the prosecutors and got the domestic violence charge dropped by agreeing to plead no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism instead.

He’s now on 3 years probation and has to complete 30 days of community service. He also agreed to attend counseling sessions and pay Daphne $7,100 the damage to her property.

Chris Brown Arrested - Aaron Davis 2012

Early this morning, per TMZ, singer Chris Brown along with his bodyguard was arrested outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man.

TMZ were informed by Law enforcement that Brown allegedly hit the victim in the face after an argument got a bit out of control. The victim never threw a punch.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment and is now claiming serious injury.

If Brown is convicted, he could face up to four years for the incident. Reason being is because this incident violates his 2009 probation order following the battery of Rihanna.

Hopkins Holds On To His IBF Light Heavyweight Belt - Aaron Davis 2012

Bernard (The Alien) Hopkins won by unanimous decision over Karo Murat and retained his IBF Light Heavyweight belt in a very entertain twelve round fight.

The first few rounds Murat seemed to have had control over the fight but Hopkins took over shortly after.

It’s amazing to see a man (Hopkins) at the age of 48 go toe-to-toe and brawl with a man (Murat) almost 20 years younger.

When asked; Hopkins explained it by saying “I’m a freakin’ alien.”

Hopkins says next up he will be looking for some super fights whether it be up or down in weight.

He stated most likely it will be down in weight.

Asked if he was serious about going down to 160 in weight and the about fighting Floyed Mayweather; Hopkins response “I can make 160 if the negotiations become realistic.”

Wouldn’t that be a fight to see?

No matter who he fights next I’m quite sure he’ll put on a good show as he always does.

People bashed her saying she looks ridiculous (primarily women) and that she is a mother now and should start acting like one.

In my opinion she looks stunning as ever and just because she is a mom doesn’t mean she has to deprive from seeing those voluptuous curves she has.

She’s in the lime-light now, known for her beauty and is to supposed keep herself out there. I can’t recall ever reading about any celebrity mothers who do nude scenes being talked about all over the internet. So what’s the big deal over Kim’s picture?

Ariel Castro Commits Suicide Today. Can't Say He'll Be Missed

Ariel Castro, the man who held three young girls, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Amanda Berry in his home for a decade took his own life today.

The 53-year-old Castro was found today hanging in his cell around 9:20pm at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient. He was still alive when he was found but later died.

Since jailed Castro had been living alone in his cell and only was allowed one hour a day outside of his cell. Castro was in protective custody and was checked on by staff every 30 minutes.

I'm not going to miss him.

Theater Owner Has Issues With Jane Fonda

So why is theater owner, Ike Boutwell, refusing to show a film that was a big box office hit and what is his problem with actress Jane Fonda?

Boutwell has been reported to have told The-News-Enterprise that people who want to see the movie will have to go somewhere else and it's because it has Jane Fonda in it.

Even though theater goers are ranting about the movie and it actually debuted last weekend in the top spot, he sticking to his word.

The reason why he won't show the popular movie in his theater is because of statements and demonstrations Jane Fonda made against the Vietnam War caused him to see her as an traitor. Turns out that Boutwell is a Korean War veteran who trained pilots during the Vietnam War. These guys take their patriotism seriously and I don't blame them.

Despite losing out on the large amount of money his theater could be bringing in, Boutwell stays firm to his word.

Lately it seems like Lamar Odom has been the most talked about professional athlete and all for the wrong reasons.

Early this morning Lamar Odom was pulled over because he was allegedly seen weaving in and out lanes on the 101 freeway.

He was given a series of the in which he failed. Officers attempted to do a chemical test but Lamar wasn't having any of it and refused to take it. He then was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and-or-drugs.

Odom was booked and later released three hours after he posted bond.

Colorado Teen Stabs Her Mother 79 Times - Aaron Davis 2012

Wow; How Can Anyone Kill Their Own Mother?

This is one of those stories that make me scratch and shake my head wondering how could anyone do something so horrific.

18-year-old Isabella Guzman, from Aurora, Colorado stabbed her mother, 47-year-old Yun-Mi-Hoy to death in the mother's own home.

According to an arrest affidavit the 18-year-old sent her mother a threatening email prior to the stabbing. The email read, "You will pay" and was sent one day before the stabbing.

Guzman and her mother were said to have fought on a regular basis. Per Guzman's stepfather, Guzman had become more "threatening and disrespectful."

A report by Denver's 7News stated that Yun-Mi-Hoy showed the threatening email to her husband and later called the police informing that her daughter "had threatened to harm her."

A report from The New York Daily News states:

"Ryan Hoy told police he heard a thumping sounds coming from upstairs while he was eating dinner on Wednesday night. He also heard his wife, who was taking a shower, calling his name, so he rushed upstairs and tried to push his way into the bathroom. He could still hear the shower running, and saw Isabella before the teenager shut and locked the door. The man said he saw blood coming out of the bottom of the door and ran to call 911. He returned to the bathroom door with his cell phone, and then saw Isabella walk out holding a knife. She was silent and stared straight ahead as she passed him, Ryan Hoy said."

Ryan Hoy found Yun-Mi-Hoy's body was on the bathroom floor with her throat slashed according to an affidavit. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Isabella is being held in jail without bond. She's being held on suspicion of first-degree-murder.

 

Murder Is Wrong Period. But Your Own Mother; I Don't Get!

It seems like attacks/killings like this are becoming more frequent these days. I don't understand how a person could do such a thing. I couldn't imagine even screaming at my mother ........for anything. To kill the woman who gave you life is beyond me.

We need more love in the world today.

Lamar Odom Will Not Be Playing For The Lakers - Aaron Davis 2012

Rumors Swirled But Lamar Odom Will Not Be One The Lakers Roster This Year

Sorry Lakers fans; but if you were hoping for a return of Lamar Odom as I was, hope no more because as of right now it looks like it's not going to happen.

Shortly after the NBA season ended this year rumors started to surface that Lamar Odom could play for the Lakers once again.

We all know that the Lakers had a very disappointing season and could definitely use a strong veteran player such as Lamar Odom to help in their rebuilding process.

RadarOnline.com went as far as reporting that Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and Odom's agent Jeff Schwartz met and an offer was made that if Odom check in and completed rehab a roster spot on the team would be waiting. Per Lakers source no such conversation took place.

Rumors about Odom's drug abuse have been all over the news and internet for the past two weeks. The Lakers did meet with Odom the beginning part of July but nothing came from it. Their decision not to resign him was made prior to drug abuse rumors.

 

What Does The Future Hold For Lamar Odom?

As of right now Lamar Odom is unsigned because the Clippers have no interest in him after acquiring Antwan Jamison from the Lakers.

Hopefully he'll get a deal with someone because he's too good of a player to end his career this way.

Lamar Odom Missing For Several Days - Aaron Davis 2012

Where Is Lamar Odom?

TMZ reports that former Lakers Champion Lamar Odom hasn't been seen or heard from for the past several days........Those closet to him fear that he is off somewhere on a drug binge and the main concern that he's doing crack cocaine.

Per TMZ Khloe kicked him out of the house this past Wednesday after attempting an intervention but Odom wasn't having any of it.

The site also reports that sources have said that Odom has had a drug problem for two years. He even went to a rehab facility in San Diego a year ago but left only after three weeks. Odom was able to keep his problem under control while he was playing but his drug problem got worse once this past basketball season ended.

Hearts and prayers go out to Lamar Odom and his family.
