Ariel Castro Commits Suicide Today. Can't Say He'll Be Missed

Ariel Castro, the man who held three young girls, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Amanda Berry in his home for a decade took his own life today.

The 53-year-old Castro was found today hanging in his cell around 9:20pm at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient. He was still alive when he was found but later died.

Since jailed Castro had been living alone in his cell and only was allowed one hour a day outside of his cell. Castro was in protective custody and was checked on by staff every 30 minutes.

I'm not going to miss him.

Kentucky Theater Is Refusing To Show "The Butler" Because Of Jane Fonda - Aaron Davis 2012

Theater Owner Has Issues With Jane Fonda

So why is theater owner, Ike Boutwell, refusing to show a film that was a big box office hit and what is his problem with actress Jane Fonda?

Boutwell has been reported to have told The-News-Enterprise that people who want to see the movie will have to go somewhere else and it's because it has Jane Fonda in it.

Even though theater goers are ranting about the movie and it actually debuted last weekend in the top spot, he sticking to his word.

The reason why he won't show the popular movie in his theater is because of statements and demonstrations Jane Fonda made against the Vietnam War caused him to see her as an traitor. Turns out that Boutwell is a Korean War veteran who trained pilots during the Vietnam War. These guys take their patriotism seriously and I don't blame them.

Despite losing out on the large amount of money his theater could be bringing in, Boutwell stays firm to his word.

More Trouble For Former Lakers Great Lamar Odom

Lately it seems like Lamar Odom has been the most talked about professional athlete and all for the wrong reasons.

Early this morning Lamar Odom was pulled over because he was allegedly seen weaving in and out lanes on the 101 freeway.

He was given a series of the in which he failed. Officers attempted to do a chemical test but Lamar wasn't having any of it and refused to take it. He then was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and-or-drugs.

Odom was booked and later released three hours after he posted bond.

Colorado Teen Stabs Her Mother 79 Times - Aaron Davis 2012

Wow; How Can Anyone Kill Their Own Mother?

This is one of those stories that make me scratch and shake my head wondering how could anyone do something so horrific.

18-year-old Isabella Guzman, from Aurora, Colorado stabbed her mother, 47-year-old Yun-Mi-Hoy to death in the mother's own home.

According to an arrest affidavit the 18-year-old sent her mother a threatening email prior to the stabbing. The email read, "You will pay" and was sent one day before the stabbing.

Guzman and her mother were said to have fought on a regular basis. Per Guzman's stepfather, Guzman had become more "threatening and disrespectful."

A report by Denver's 7News stated that Yun-Mi-Hoy showed the threatening email to her husband and later called the police informing that her daughter "had threatened to harm her."

A report from The New York Daily News states:

"Ryan Hoy told police he heard a thumping sounds coming from upstairs while he was eating dinner on Wednesday night. He also heard his wife, who was taking a shower, calling his name, so he rushed upstairs and tried to push his way into the bathroom. He could still hear the shower running, and saw Isabella before the teenager shut and locked the door. The man said he saw blood coming out of the bottom of the door and ran to call 911. He returned to the bathroom door with his cell phone, and then saw Isabella walk out holding a knife. She was silent and stared straight ahead as she passed him, Ryan Hoy said."

Ryan Hoy found Yun-Mi-Hoy's body was on the bathroom floor with her throat slashed according to an affidavit. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Isabella is being held in jail without bond. She's being held on suspicion of first-degree-murder.

 

Murder Is Wrong Period. But Your Own Mother; I Don't Get!

It seems like attacks/killings like this are becoming more frequent these days. I don't understand how a person could do such a thing. I couldn't imagine even screaming at my mother ........for anything. To kill the woman who gave you life is beyond me.

We need more love in the world today.
