Protestors In Leimert Park Get Arrested For Unlawful Assembly

While there was a large group of peaceful protestors that held a prayer rally in Leimert Park today, another group of approximately 150 protestors decided to break off and react in acts of vandalism, violence and disorderly conduct.

The Los Angeles police department went on tactical alert with approximately 350 officers to take control of those using this opportunity to exploit the situation with unlawful acts.

13 arrest were made after unruly protestors refused to disperse and clear the area.

People have the legal right to assemble, march and let their voice be heard but there's a right and wrong way to do it.

The police were right with their decision to disassemble the unruly group.
